Jhandi is a rural and remote village situated at the height of 6205 feet’s under Gorubathan Block of Kalimpong District West Bengal. Jhandi is extra ordinary topography of hill from where you can view lower catchment of River Teesta, wide range of Duars and Tarai .
Jhandi is an offbeat location about two hour from Kalimpong and about two hours from Siliguri. Road from Kalimpong is rough, but the views are scenic. The eco huts offer the best location. However, the Jhandi eco huts run on its view and it’s extremely hardworking staff. The boys Ajay and Vijay do try, but the place is clearly understaffed.
